Photo event in Dongen, Netherlands on August 22-23

Photo event in Dongen, Netherlands on August 22-23

About the event

Time for another event in Dongen, Netherlands! Two model are confirmed and nr 3 will be listed very soon. It’s possible to book already now.

If you scroll down to the end of the page you can see a lot of photos I have shot on these events. Can be good for inspiration. It’s just a fraction of what is possible to do there.

Our first model is Sophie La Sage! Her red hair, intense eyes and her figure makes her truly unique and a great addition to our event! Model nr 2 is Dorka from Hungary. Her curly have and amazing curves will be a great addition to the model line up on this event! Last but not least we have Elfa. I’m excited to work with her because she is one of those models who inspire me to create!

This is a photo event, not a regular workshop, so the emphasis will be on shooting time. Participants will be grouped into pairs, each with a model. We will rotate the groups, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to shoot with each model, which guarantees a lot of shooting time.

My role is to provide assistance, share innovative concepts, and ignite your creativity. My aim is to ensure you leave with extraordinary, one-of-a-kind photographs of our trio of exquisite, professional models. This unique setting further enhances the visual appeal and distinctiveness of your captures. Let's transform your vision into reality together!

The location

The highlight of this event, apart from the models, is the amazing location. Our expansive studio features several rooms, each with its distinct style. Additionally, there's a large "factory" section providing a rugged backdrop for our shoots. Take a look at the photos below.

Knowledge and equipment

To participate, no special knowledge or skill level is required; however, you must be able to shoot independently at all times. While I'll be there to help and provide advice as needed, it's essential for you to operate without continual assistance. When it comes to equipment, you don't need much. I suggest lenses of 50mm, 85mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm, or similar. Ideally, your lens should have a focal length between 50mm and less than 100mm. As we'll be shooting in natural light, it's beneficial to have a prime lens with a large maximum aperture or a zoom lens with a 2.8 aperture.

Where and how to get there

The location is situated in a place called Dongen, near the Belgium border and not too far from Germany. For instance, it's less than a 2.5-hour drive from Cologne. If you're flying in, you can land in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, or Eindhoven, and cover the remaining distance by train. From Amsterdam and Rotterdam, the train to Breda is available. From Eindhoven, you can journey to Tilburg. Additionally, there are several hotels I can recommend for anyone planning to stay overnight and participate on both days. Don't hesitate to ask if you need any information regarding travel possibilities.

When: August 22-23
Where: Dongen, Netherlands
Time: 11.00-18.00
Participants: Up to 6 each day
Price: €699 each day

Photos for inspiration

Below you can see a few photos I have shot at this event over the years. They are meant as inspiration and it’s just a fraction of what you can create at this location. It’s very versatile.

Photo event in Nice, France on September 23-27

Photo event in Nice, France on September 23-27

About the event

Earlier this year in May I had my first event at this location and it was a huge success! Now I organise a new one in September. It’s a photo event in South of France, set in a private historic stone house just outside of Nice. The event includes 3 shooting days, a 4-night stay with your own private room at the property. All meals and drinks included!

The location is intentionally discreet — a characterful Provençal property on the road leading up to Saint-Paul-de-Vence, surrounded by texture, light, and the quiet rhythm of the Mediterranean. Old stone walls, terraces, shaded interiors, and open views create a setting that feels lived-in rather than staged.

It will be a small group of 6 photographers and 3 carefully chosen models. Shared meals, long conversations, and evenings over a glass of wine are as much part of the experience as the photography itself. This is an event away from studios and hotels — closer to a temporary life than an event. Following the spirit of my previous events, this edition remains intimate, collaborative, and experience-led — shaped by place, people, and time rather than production.

Our first model is the amazing Vivi. I’m working with her for the first time. But I heard a lot of good things about her from friends and other photographers!

The second model is Kira. We worked together on an event in Netherlands earlier this year. She is great with posing but she is also a very fun and pleasant person which is important on this kind of event.

Last but not least we have the amazing Sonya! She is one of my favourite models to work and finally I can bring her to Bali. I wanted to have her on my other events but it didn’t work out those times and now we have finally confirmed! At the moment she is exclusive to my events only so keep that in mind.

Location

Here are a few shots of the property. As mentioned earlier all participants will get their own room at the property. The location is just 15 minutes away from the Nice airport and it’s very easy to get an Uber there.
