I love black and white! Here I show you how I create my style of b/w with dark skin and smooth tones in Photoshop. I also show advanced dodge and burn that will give you a very professional result. Most of the skin retouch is done used that technique and not with softening or cloning. Have a look below to see a sample of the photo before retouch.

Capture One is used like raw converter just to set the white balance. No other changes where made in that process. All the b/w toning and skin retouch are done in Photoshop without using any filters, actions or plugins.
